♦The image of Buddha carved on a clif who have been protecting people living in the sea.
Fukinoura, known for popular sunset spot. With the sun setting over the Sea of Japan, you can see total 22 Buddha carved on a clif. There were carved by the Buddhist priest Kankai, the 21st priest of Kaizen temple. The statues meidtating with a smile on their faces keep praying for the safety of vogyage.
