About Yamanobe city local museum

♦Displays the history and culture of Yamanobe, where connected Kyo(Kyoto), Edo(Tokyo), and Dewa(Yamagata).
The collection of calligraphies, paitings, and dolls are produced in Yamanobe also brought in from Edo. From the middle of February and the beginning of April, "Hinanigyo exhibition" is held where many kinds of dolls of different ages are lined up. About 3,000 to 4,000 tourists visit to appreciate every year.
