About Museo del fabricaciĆ³n del sake Furusawa

♦With a history of 160 years, touring the skill of sake brewing.
Furusawa sake brewing museum is a brewer established in 1836 known for famous brand of sake "Sawamasamune". A storehouse of old days, old equipments, and process of sake breqwing are displayed and explained. Sake tasting is also available. The masterpiece "Benibanaya Jubei" win gold prize in national contest. Soba, or buckwheat noodles making experience is available in an annex of the museum.

Access:15 minutes on foot from JR sagae station toward Sagae elementary school.

Summer:Hot. Visiting hamlet is recommended.
Fall:Beauty of the leaves when turned in autum. Imoni festivals everywhere!
Winter:Freezing cold with snow, and the trees will be coverd with them and ice.
Snow:Cold, but not as delicous as shaved ice.

Yonezawa Beef:As known as "Matsuzaka" of the west, and "Yonezawa" of the east.
Imoni:One of the local dishes of Yamagata which beef soup and taro roots are boiled and seasoned together.
Soba:Buckwheat noodles.
Cold ramen:Yamagata is the birthplace for cold ramen; the chinese noodle.
