About 500 Rakan (Thervada Buddhism)

♦Even after 160 years, still beautifully standing Rakan figure.
Surrounded by green fields and serenity, there is Gyokuryu-In.
From a platform right in front of the mud-walled warehouse, you are able to see 16 Rakan statues around the Buddha. The best part is 500 Rakan figures and 33 Kannon, or the Goddess of Mercy jamming the walls from down on the floor to the top on the ceiling. They are all transported from Kyoto on 1800.
With its beautiul colors, some of them are stanging, and some of them are sitiing with all different faces and postures.

Cold ramen:Yamagata is the birthplace for cold ramen; the chinese noodle.

Snowman's village
