♦A rare pottery with impressive indigo blue glow on white base.
Kaminohata yaki disappeared only 10 years after kiln opened in Tenpou era.
It was said to be an illusional pottery for many years, however in 1980, revived by a ceramicist Hyodo Ito. Uenohatayaki is a porcelain made from silver mine clay, beautiful deep indigo blue pattern on white base. You can make your own vessel (reservation required). There is a display room in the 2nd floor.
