About the old house of Ogata

The family of Ogata used to live in this house who had been a village headman for generations, and now designated as a important cultural property of Japan.
With its structure and tchnique, it is said that the house was built around the middle of 17th century.
You can see how special upper class farmhouse's life style was at that time.
