About Yamadera Basyo museum

♦Touching the world of Basyo and enjoy a cup of poudered green tea.
This memorial museum was built in honor of 300 years after Basyo's visit to Yamadera. His own handwriting works and materials related to "Oku no hosomichi" are displayed. Also, short films to have better understanding of his works are showing. There is a teahouse detached from main building to have Japanese powdered green tea.

Soba:Buckwheat noodles.
Cold ramen:Yamagata is the birthplace for cold ramen; the chinese noodle.
