About Bunsyo pavillion

♦A building with a motif of the Britih Renaissance.
Rehabilitatinf old Yamagata prefectural office building and capital house.
At present, Bunsyo ken is opened as a local museum introducing local government, coucil, and history of modern Yamagata. The building is one of the best Taisyo architecture in Japan, designated as an important cultural property. Check out the beautifully papered walls with Western-style wallpapers.
The building itself is illuminated at night presenting a nostalgic atmosphere.
