About Shinjo historical center

♦Learn about the history and lives of people living in shinjo.
A facility to introduce the history and culture of the castle town Shinjo.
The first floor is "Shinjo Dashi hall" where displays 2 Dashi, or floats used in Shinjo festival.
The second floor is "Shinjo historical folk museum" where displays data related to the period of the Clan government, historical transition, and great persons of hometown.
At "Snowy country folk museum" in the basement displays about 25000 articles of everyday use of snowy county.

Soba:Buckwheat noodles.
Cold ramen:Yamagata is the birthplace for cold ramen; the chinese noodle.
