About Sakegawa Kabuki
♦Traditional performing arts of Edo passing down to a villeage.
Sakegawa Kabuki was passed by Kabuki performers of Edo in the end of 18th century.
Once performance was suspended because of the lack of successors and breakage of outfit, then in 1972 costume and properties were donated by Kabuki performers of Tokyo and in the same year, preservation party was formed.
